In order to enjoy this week to the fullest extent, we need to take care of ourselves and others around us to stay as healthy as possible.
We would kindly ask the saints to abide by the following health recommendations:
- Try to avoid hugging or shaking hands; greet with a fist or an elbow.
- Do not share food, drinks, or water bottles.
- Cover your mouth with your elbow when sneezing or coughing.
- Saints with flu-like symptoms, including coughing, should use a mask.
- If you have a fever, vomit, or diarrhea, stay in your room to rest after letting your serving one know.
- Serving ones should find out who the House Coordinator is and let them know if someone will stay home to rest.
- Stay hydrated (drink fluids, especially during the hike and activities)
- Each House Coordinator will need to collect masks, disinfectant spray, and signs about handwashing. The HC can designate someone from their house to pick up the supplies at House 43A.
When we should wash our hands:
- Before every meal
- After every time using the bathroom
- After activities
Make sure you wash the front and the back of your hands, the tip of the fingers by rubbing them against your palm, and the thumbs. If no soap at the sink in your bathroom, please talk to the House Coordinator about getting soap.
To avoid stomach illnesses, it is best to wash our hands with soap and water frequently during the day. Hand sanitizer may not be adequate to remove all germs or chemicals.
